A Brief Bio of the Author
I was born in Washington D.C., one of eleven children,
born to Mary
and Quentin
Lee. I grew up in the area around the Government Printing
Office, of
which I eventually worked at. I went to school at Dunbar High
School, where I was on the track team for three
years. On graduating from
high school, I enlisted in the Marine Corps, where I
served in Viet Nam in
1968.
I was wounded in Viet Nam a couple of times and was sent home to
Washington D.C. I pursued a career in
electronics, where I am currently
employed by a
major cooperation. I started writing after returning from
Viet Nam but had concepts of writing sense I was a
kid. Actually I wrote
a short story when I was in the sixth grade at
Walker Jones Elementary
School on first and K streets in NW D.C. Don't know
what happened with
that story, but it was about an Indian boy named
"Little Bear". . At present, I
am actively practicing Martial Arts and along
with my son, have become
World, National and State champions. My
son and I are enrolled at a
Kungfu School in Forestville Md., called
Blackbelt University. The school
is run by Grandmaster Lee Edmonds.
